Lifestyle Ministry

The Den began in 2000 as a prayer ministry then called Theophostic Prayer. Gradually, Immanuel Prayer was added as well as Spiritual Direction. After several years of joining Church Renewal Mentoring, our founders sensed that our focus needed to shift. At that time healing prayer was seen as a tool to bring healing to trauma and pain. Although that was happening, much more was beginning to happen as we began to focus on hearing God, identifying the hindrances to receiving from God, confession of sin, repentance, forgiveness, discipleship, accountability and learning to rest and abide in Christ where there was anxiety and striving. The results were evidence that individuals were falling deeper in love with Jesus, able to yield deeper to surrender once experiencing the depth of God’s love, and being provided with grace for the difficult challenges in their lives.

Question for you: In your Christian walk have you ever said to yourself “there has to be more?” Do you often find it hard to read your Bible with excitement and anticipation because you don’t seem to get anything out of it? Are you longing to hear from God but don’t? If you find yourself in that position, then I am pretty sure you have yet to have an experiential encounter with Jesus. Maybe you have had one, or even two, and you wonder why there aren’t more?

You are not alone! I can assure you that by learning and adding Lifestyle Model of Spiritual Formation to your daily walk, your soul will find new life and joy in daily living. It starts with coming to The Den for an intake appointment to discuss your needs and see if this is a good fit for you. That would be followed by six prayer appointments each two weeks apart and then an evaluation to see how things have changed for you. We do not charge a fee. Each appointment is by donation as you are able. We would love to hear from you. Call Robin at The Den at 204-661-4150 or email us at den205office@gmail.com (that’s den two zero five office)
